Tawny Owlets 2 by cycoze Tawny Owlets 2 by cycoze
Tawny Owlets (Strix aluco).

One week on, starting to get their feathers now, looking a bit fluffier.

Owlets have moved from one bed to another, Parents are leaving plenty of food still.

Horses are still out of the barn.

Just too adorable! Do they hiss at you when you come around? I've been told that baby owls like to hiss at things.

Sooooo fluffy! XD

These have been used to people and horse traffic in the barn, cannot see them now as they have moved into an area that is not used, so won't be searching for them.

Lucky! My two are as vocal and elusive as ever. Do the parents ever watch whilst you're nearby? When my father, his friend and I were keeping an eye on one in the middle of domestic cat territory, one of the parents kept an eye on us.
