Young Blackbird looking cosy in the nest, there is another in there with it, originally three eggs but only two hatched, both Fledglings left the nest in the last week, the Mother has been feeding them still while building another nest in a climbing plant about twenty feet away, busy Lady.
The nest is in a small Topiary on my patio, the patio sees a lot of human traffic, we have done our best not to disturb the Family of Blackbirds, in fact we had to place several pots/tubs around the base of the Topiary container to keep our dogs away from it, all the photos i have taken of them have been with a long lens.
