Bird Feeding Log Tutorial

Thinking of feeding the birds recently with the bad weather i thought about this little tutorial I started making a while back.

I was stuck at home for a few months after tearing ligament and muscle in my leg, I still wanted to shoot and had seen people do similar things to this, nice just to see the birds up close if sited well.

Not an original idea but one worth sharing.

Suet or lard can be used to bind the seed, I prefer suet as it is not so greasy as lard.

^wynnesome points out that small ready made logs can be bought with suet plugs that fit the pre-drilled holes.
