Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus).
Watched this bird being flown with a view to having it stoop from a great height, eventually it gained the height and was called down (show was over and everyone had gone), as the bird spread it's wings to slow down and level out the noise of the air rushing between it's feathers was incredible, genuinely gave me a rush ! it also made my Daughter hit the deck as when it had levelled out it came in to land a couple of feet over her head, claws first, awesome  Falconers Bird. |
