Amur Leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) Male.

Rarest subspecies of leopard in the world.

This Cat lives with it's mate an even rarer black Amur leopard at Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens Norfolk in the UK, they had a pair of cubs last year, see video of cubs from the link below.

Video of the cubs [link] , feisty little things :) you can see Mum at the end of the clip, now anyone who thinks they would like to cuddle them might just change their minds !

Beautiful predator, shame there's less than 500 worldwide. Naturally, seems such a loss is attributed to humans. As I know, there's about 50 in the wild, the rest are captive animals

Yes... Tey have to mix all the amur leopards or the endogamy will kill them... :(

Thanks, love a "Wow", i was about 20 feet away from the cat and had to shoot through wire, would be great to get closer and without wire.

I would love to be able to get a shot without wire between the camera and cat, i know the wire does not really show in the image but i bet it would look a lot better if it wasn't, the cat is gorgeous.
