My pleasure, only ever seen them in East Anglia a couple of times, spent ages getting friends and Family to get outside to see them I had hardly no time to set up and get shots myself, sods law, so this makes up for it.

It is an amazing spectacle Cy, and you're really fortunate to have seen the in the UK. I'm heading out to Finland in February and I'll be 'hunting' for 2 weeks so, all being well, I should come back with a few more shots. Cheers once again. Andy.

Always worth keeping tabs on what is going on here, sign up to AuroraWatch's free alerts service [link] , thats how I have seen them in the past, when i get the alert I check a real time map like one of these [link] or [link] or [link] , there used to be a really good one on canopus that seems to have died a long time ago though.
